Simultaneous and consecutive

Invite an interpreter to a business meeting or conference and you will be sure that your speech is understandable to the audience. We offer consecutive, simultaneous and booth interpreting.

Remote

An interpreter does not have to go to you, you can order an interpretation of an event that you organise via the Internet or interpretation of a business conversation by phone. We do remote simultaneous and consecutive interpretations.

Voice-over

Get to know the kinds of live interpreting:

Consecutive

The most common form of interpreting that is frequently used during public appearances. Consecutive interpreting consists in twining of the speaker’s and interpreter’s utterances. This type of interpreting is highly time-consuming because each statement is uttered at least 2 times – in the speaker’s language and the target language.

Simultaneous interpreting

It requires remarkable skills and attention from the interpreter. Simultaneous interpreting is one of the most difficult types of interpreting since the interpreter has to simultaneously listen to and interpret into the other language the utterances which he or she managed to hear. Such interpreting is frequently applied during direct meetings.

Booth interpreting

Booth interpreting is a kind of simultaneous interpreting. The only difference is that the interpreter is not present directly near the interlocutors but he or she is in a closed, soundproof booth and the text which he or she can hear is interpreted by him or her immediately to the microphone connected to the headphones of other participants of the meeting. Booth interpreting is applied for example during a sitting of the European Parliament.

Certified translation

A certified translator who works in accordance with the Profession of Certified Translator Act of the 25th of November 2004 [Ustawa o zawodzie tłumacza przysięgłego z dnia 25 listopada 2004 r. (Dz. U. No 273, item 2702)] as amended, interprets formal meetings, trials or issues in an office if one of the parties does not speak Polish.

His or her translation, as well as certification of the documents being the result of the meeting are legally legitimised in the presence of a certified translator.
